WASAR INSTALLMENT 2

September 15, 2009
We walked in and stopped next to a doorway positioned halfway down the corridor. Then dad stepped close to the wall and pushed part of it in. When he did this it slid to the side and revealed a secret passage with a stairwell at the end of it, leading down. As we went down the stairs in the dark I couldn’t help feeling scared, but when we got to the bottom we found a normal door that looked just like the front door of an average house. “That’s a pretty normal looking door.” I said to no-one in particular. As I was saying this Danielle stepped forward, reached out, turned the doorknob and opened the door. This revealed a corridor full with people rushing around the place to do their jobs efficiently. When we entered we were told to turn left down a hallway and go through the door at the end. As I walked inside I realised that it was some kind of administration office. When we were all inside the administration office the lady sitting behind the desk said, “Hello, my name is Jane Row and it is my pleasure to welcome you to W.A.S.A.R headquarters.” Then she ushered all us kids into a room with a bunch of adults standing around chatting. My dad, who had followed us inside, walked to the desk at the head of the room and sat down. “These people are going to be your new teacher’s. You will be able to get to know each other better over your time here.” said my dad. “Now let me introduce your new English Teacher, Miss Tabatha Andrews.” When he said this, a quite young lady came forward to greet us all. “It is a pleasure to meet you all at last.” She said with enthusiasm. We then all greeted her with the respect due for someone of her authority. Then it was pretty much the same for each teacher after Miss Andrews. Then my dad said, “Now we will be visiting some of the more high security areas of the facility.” These high security areas that my dad had been talking about were the labs, communications rooms and other spy learning and gadget building rooms. This is where our parents left us. From then on Mr Pebble and Dr Wandergeist gave us the rest of the tour of the complex. Next we were shown into the gadgets building room were a lone scientist called Dr Kevin Vampton spends his time making special gadgets for us to use on our missions that we will be going on. When we entered he gave all 3 of the girls some foundation and told us it wasn’t just any type of foundation. “This foundation, when applied can change the colour of your skin so that you can look like locals when you go undercover.” He said with great enthusiasm. “And, these swimming trunks are for you boys. They can make you swim 5 times as fast as your normal speed.”
